| Bathing: Many people think that
they need to bath their ferrets weekly to help keep their fur shinny and
soft, but in reality its harmful to wash them more that once every two
months. The chemicals in their skin can actually be washed away if thir
fur is washed to much. I've found out that one bath a month is the nest
for them. |
Nails: Ferret's nails need to be
trimed about twice a week. If the nails are clear, you can see a pink strip
near the bottom of the nail. NEVER cut that part of the nail or it will
blead and will be very sinsitive for your pet. Trim about 4 cms above it. |
Stealing: Ferrets love to take things.
They really love anything shinny.( Car keys, rings, necklaces, ect) They
usually have a certain place where they will hide your things. It is best
to find this place early so you can find your stuff. |
Playtime: Ferrets usually sleep
alot of the day, say about 20 hours. However, those 4 hours when they are
awake they are very active. Never leave your ferret in its cage all day.
They need space to run and play. |
